I won this book as a First Read.I did not realize until I was reading through the comments after finishing the book that this is the second book in a trilogy. However, it worked well as a standalone book.I enjoyed the pace of the story and the fact that the characters were well-rounded. I definitely want to read the other 2 books of the series!
